Something new

It has been along time since i have posted anything. That was because nothing much has happened over this time. Then came this big event that happened this week. It was something i really had to blog about cause it is so fun.

I got into a car accident , hahahaha. The car i was on had its left side scraped off and then car that we hit had its right rear end shaved off.The good thing was that nobody was hurt and the worst injured person onsite was me . I had cuts to my eye and hurt both my knees and i hurt my entire right arm.

Anyways, i feel alright except for the pain in my right arm that hurts like crap.

Well on to the next thing, my school is rolling out its hoodies for this year ,
i got 1 for myself. itlooks awesome doesn't it ??

Anyway , if anyone is intrested i could get 1 for you.
The huge exams is just round the corner and time is runnning out so i would rarely be online anymore. STUDY, STUDY , STUDY. I have to study and work my way through and score in the finals. Then i can enjoy my holidays.

jie wei thanks for your concern anyway , i am doing fine and i will take care of myself. :)
I hope my parents would not worry too much on this matter.

ok this blog has been dead for quite a long time and i have decided to revive it again.

first of all, i visited my school today. CBSS . i loved everything about it although they repainted it . All the students reminded me of the old times. The new students were not bad and they were all friendly.

today i just came to support the school's speech day and from what i can see it might just be one of the best yet. love the school, the students , my friends and DOM mr tan.

just came back from australia today and arrived at 4 in the morning. tiring but making the trip to Chong Boon was worth it.

I love NCC. the guys in there were just so full of energy and HIGH. lol . i wish everyday could be like this.

The exams will be coming soon i am starting my revision.
The exams in Singapore are over already, but i have just started.
Hope i can really do well. Since i am starting revision so early.
I will be very disappointed if it does not work out for me in the end.
The time for me to start my fight for this year. Anyways i also have to attend a graduation dinner for the year in like 3 weeks time.
I have to work hard.
Will update if possible as soon as possible.

Too long

it has been too long since i have last posted a post. i think it has been almost 1 and a half months.
Nowadays there is nothing really much to talk about.
Maybe the economic downturn , US has gone into recession and stuff.
I have to say that the exams are around the corner and i have to work work work.
i cannot fail this exam if not i will be really pissed.
These few days i have no friends around it seems like all of them have just disappeared.
They are all still having their holidays, what relaxed people...
I love these few days i can do all my work without being disturbed but i miss the company.
I have just another 6 weeks to go till my exams then on the final day, i will jet out of this country and go back to singapore. muahahaha.

today is another average day and nothing much happened. I met with my friends and went for a movie. Then we studied and had almost completed the english presentation project.
i was pretty pleased.
We had chicken treat today, was not really good but what the heck it was ok. Just that their outlets do not have that fast food restaurent "feel" it was just too empty. The kitchen was too quiet, there was no bustling, and nobody was eating in.
What I really want is my family to fly over in September, i really look forward to meeting them and i can bring them around.

i would have to apologise for not bloggin for almost a month.

recent events in my life would include the returning back to Singapore. i was such a happy mood that i have totally forgoteen about blogging. Anyway i have just returned from Singapore this week and i had just been to a huge party hosted by the homestay people. It was their anniversary and many people came. i could only name a few. Many people were in a happy mood and most of them went drunk at about 11pm.

i will return to singapore in november. that is an awfully long time. therefore i hope to keep contacting my family and friends soon.

well that is all i have to say for now. i will try to come and blog more often from now on.

i managed to come online again today but it will not be for long because the rain is going to come sometime soon.
i am taking a break from all the hectic stuff i am doing. i think i might just pull my hair out soon. i am hoping this week to be over soon and that i can just start my exams then i can get on with my plans of coming back to singapore.
today is the birthday of one of my homestay guardians. i have no idea how old is he but
i hope that i can get good grade for my exams ...

it has been so long since i have came online.
time and luck has not allowed me to use the computer this whole week.
my exams are nearing and i am working my head off this week. i have not studied this hard since...i was borned.haha

apparently, the computer worked fine today again cause there was no rain to distrupt the connection.
i have started my revision schedule and is in the midsts of doing my computing.
coming back sooner then i expected to. hope my exams will be a breeze for me.
coming back to singapore , i hope to accomplish a few things.

it is finally the weekend, i know that today will be the last day before i can come and use the computer again on friday. it justs breaks down when there is rain.

today i finaaly got the blasted computer working.
finally able to go online and keep up on track with everybody. really funny weather here and most of my friends either sick or halfway to paradise.
lots of weird projects coming up. don't know what the teachers are thinking.
my family is going on a holiday soon so i must wish them a happy holiday.. soon i will have mine in like 6 weeks time lol.

man watched this show in school. they showed how they cuy and slice up an eyeball. how cool was that.

they cut it out then cut out the lens.
then came the iris
and the pupil
and then the jelly stuff in the eyeball.
it was so COOL!!

then a girl had to go to the toilet when they removed the retina.haha.

really very happy today found out that the old computer is working again.haha yay i am coming back in 16 days time and so far only my family members know that weeee.

hello, nothing much.
anyways today is the start of my 1 week holiday!!!!! it is easter.
very happy and going to have fun this Easter holiday. all the teachers are telling us not to eat too much chocolates hahahah. i will be coming in 25 days time. still a long time anyway so i don't really care.
and to cousin pris you are one funny girl why can't i listen to paramore???? hmmmm...yea maybe i do not look like the type haha.
anyways i am really wanting to start my hols. some people in my school were so excited that they left class earlier then usual.Out of the 18 in my math class only 8 turned up.
do not know what are they thinking .....
better not think about it.
wow.. today the homestay lady tried to murder us all!!!! woah she thought that some innocent looking long green things were peas and she threw them in. Later she found out that what she threw in was chilli!!!!!! i almost died when i tried the curry HOT!!!!

it has been a long time since i posted anything. i am counting down the days

about 35 more days to go till i come back to singapore.

I am really hoping to get back to singapore.i want to get some food the food here is all tasted and i really want to get back to singapor e to try the food that i love.i am also going to attend the Speech Day at my school so i hope that i am able to sneak in like a mouse.hahaha. My tests average is about 75 percent so i am doing quite well over here by myself.

I really miss singaporean food!!!!!!!!!!! seriously they cannot even make decent chilli around here except in my homestay the rest are all like Mcdonalds chilli sauce.

hello it is me , i know that i did not blog for the last few days cause i was busy and i could not touch the computer. I hope that 15 of April would come soon and i can come home to Singapore.There is a bunch of really important dates that i have to remember. Anyways we will come to that later. I really hope that all of my family is doing well and so is the dogs. I will have to do alot of things before coming back so i am really packed. Oh just to say i found out that i lost 6 kg hahahaha. today was boring again. I came home with a new haircut and it was so short, the lady at the salon seems to favor me i do not know why. Anyway the weather is turning for the better this few days the weather has gone from hot to cooler in a day and now we are facing cooler weather ahead.This means that autumn is coming and that winter is nearing.Today we are going to have a party again because thier son came to visit and they are preparing a feast.

So today was also CBSS cross country it is also the last cross country for the friends of mine.Sad.I managed to give them a call this morning.So i am quite satisfied.

Today i had my first test on Information systems it was ok but then i saw a question that i did not know.I had overlooked it and i lost 1 mark so i am hoping to get 17 and above.The tempreture is very hot today and i drank about 5 bottles of water .The rest of Australia seems cooler i dont know why. i saw many stuff on the television.

Hi just missed Chinese New Year, i am still bored. My family seems to have much more activities when i am not here.Damn.The weather here is getting hotter and hotter but the night is getting colder too.Well today is Saturday so Madi,helen and a few folks came over for a while.We chatted and well talked.I am looking forward to school on monday.I have found a pastime!!!!! I am now watching Australian footie.Football for short.The team i am supporting is the West Coast Eagles and the season is starting so i have lots of watching to do.I am balancing my homework well and as well as my play time. The homestay folks just added a jaccuzzi too thier home,woo hoo!!!! and it is heated too so during the winter if i am feeling cold just jump in!!! lol. Hope my family and my cousins have the time to visit me in June when everybody is free from their schoolwork.

I am hoping to get a huge heist from this year's ang pows.Well this is all for now.Cheers.

Woooo... today the the tempreture dropped from 38 degrees to 16.9 at night.The whole school was on heaters today.haha.The flies did not bother us today for the first time.Anyway, I ran a whole kilometre or more today because the sky was about to rain again.I reached home just in time to see the sky pour down again.I am going to the estate again to see the fireworks that Curtin have every night. I am doing quite well over here actually so my family members need not worry about me too much.I made another friend today called kenneth i have now two friends called kenneth.haha.The students in Canning College are all good students although some are quite rough. They are actually quite harmless and they are very friendly.So you can make friends easily here.Everybody is celebrating the New Year in Singapore so here i wish everybody a Happy Chinese New Year.!!!!! till next time.

Finally school is starting for me. I have taken the last week to familierise myself with perth. I visited a lot of people. I went to my friends house on Saturday and had a smashing time there.The house was filled with people yesterday and i had chats with lots of people.I asked Madi about where to get a laptop and she said to get it here in case it breaks down so i can bring it to the shop for repairs.I have lots of friends here and everyone is very friendly.The weather here can go as high as 35 in the afternoons and 19 at night.I find it quite funny, on how the weather can change in just a few hours.Well, i got my timetable today and i got a shock. There is actually morning and afternoon tea included in the timetable.It is good. I have a free peroid but i will use it to go to the libary or the computing centre.The computers there are quite fast compared to the other computers i have seen so far.

Yeah, the life here is great and i am looking forward to the Easter holidays in March. That would be on the 21 march to 25 march. i will have nomal lectures till 11 april then i will be coming back soon not confirmed yet so you people do not get over excited. My april holiday will last till 30 April.

hi to anybody out there. I have been in WA for 2 weeks now.I miss my family,friends and my school. The weather here is ok and the night is very cooling. I am now quite familier with perth and its suburbs. I would not start school until 5 feb, so if anyone that is from my family or friends who want to come here email me. THe food here is given in huge portions so well bring an empty belly. I am currently working in an office for three days. Better to spend the time wisely then to waste it by rotting in the house. I have made loads of friends and i am quite happy here i will be coming back soon in april so well it is not that far away. I plan to visit Chong boon so watch out cbss i am coming back. I do not really know the date of my arrival so too bad suckers!!! hahaha.

This week is the fourth week .I am writing in earkier then expected as I am going for another holiday at the end of this week ,but I am going on another short trip so I cannot put up a post this Saturdy.So I am forced to put it up today as I am leaving tomorrow.This holiday has been a wonderful one as I am able to see many things that I cannot see while the term in school.I have also been back at school for 2 times this week.so this is my last post before meeting all my friends back at school again on Monday. Third week

Today is the end of the third week I have gone for a short trip overseas and have just came back home.I went to nearby malaysia and had a very relaxing 4 days there.We went to Genting, Sunway Lagoon, Port Dickson and so many other places.My relatives ther were simply thrilled to see us arriving at their home.We came back late at night on a Saturday evening.Luckily for me i had brought my english homework along so I need not rush through the rest except for the last post I am doing on the last saturday of this month.

Week two

Well,week 2 was a boring week. I had to do my english homework and go for my tuitions.I had really nothing else to do but to either play or study. But I had to study because I had really flunked the recent Mid-Year-Exams.So I am trying to cope with my work back in school and to revise whatever the teachers have taught me.But on friday ,we had to go into the NCC campus again to help out in the celebrations there.It was fun and we reached home in the evening by the time everything was over.Over the weekend, Idid more of my homework and basically relaxed.

First week of the holidays

This week is the first week of the holidays.It has been a busy week as i have just recently attended the NCC specialist course. It was tough but at the same time experiential.I had a great time there.I got back from the course tired and worn out as it was a 4 day course.Then, over the weekend I rested and relaxed. So basically that was the end of my week 1.

My reflection on Career Fair 2007

On the 2 of march I went to the career fair 2007 at suntec city.The purpose of this trip is to let us have a image of our careers.It was very beneficial.I think that for this year's career fair I have learnt a lot of things.I learnt more on my ambition ,as in what school to go to after my term in Chong Boon ends. I have learnt a great deal on this trip . As I now understand my job better now.I think that the fair should be more organised as many people are together and might get lost easily.The was also not much directions so I spent the better part of my time there looking for the jobs that I wanted. I also found out I could go to different schools right now to pursue my career!!My friends and I talked about the fair after visiting all the showcases.We then did a worksheet that was a review of our jobs.I also found out the school Le Cordon Bleu had a school in Japan!! I also had a lot of information on other kinds of different careers like; teachers,policeman,engineer and so much more!

My ambition is to be a chef. To be a chef you can go in two routes. One is doing training in hotel Management.Subjects including study of law, economics, accounts, public relations, general management and a foreign language fully equips a candidate with the knowledge and expertise to manage all aspects of a hotel.
The second is to enter a cooking school and the start your career from there.Take a cooking course and you can reach a supervisory level in about six to seven years.

you will start from :

Trainee, After completing the diploma or bachelor's course, a student is usually taken in as a trainee in the kitchen, with a salary ranging between $1500-$2500.

Officer grade, After successful completion of training, a trainee may be absorbed in beginner positions with salaries ranging between $35oo-$4500.

Chef, It usually takes two years in the field, post-training, to become a chef and, depending on performance, you may expect regular promotions. The salaries usually could range between $5000-$6000.
Sous Chef, It may take six to seven years to become a Sous Chef (kitchen in-charge). If a person is innovative and competent at his/ her work, he/ she can expect to draw close to $7500 per month within 5-8 years.

Executive Chef, In about 10-12 years, a chef can reach the position of executive chef. An executive chef is responsible for all food and kitchen related decisions, including shopping, deciding the menu and innovation of new specialties.The Executive Chef is often one of the most highly paid professionals in the hotel since the food quality of the hotel directly enhances the image of the hotel. Many successful and reputed chains pay up to $8500-$10,000 per month to their executive chefs.

The amount of salary will be higher when the duration of work in the kitchen is longer.It will sometimes even total to $100,000-$200,000 for celebrity chefs or maybe even more.

To be a chef your stamina to stay in the kitchen for long hours must be very good and you must be alert, motivated and beinging creative is what this profession is all about.

A chef can branch out into a variety of careers including restaurant management, pastry chef and other related positions in hotels, clubs and up-scale restaurants. After gathering sufficient experience, a chef can always set out on his/ her own and open his/ her own hotel/ restaurant/ club.

Firstly,I would like to talk about my comments on the NE(national education) video I had seen on the 8 th of Febuary.It is trying to tell us that there is no place like home.Even when you travel,study or live overseas,it is only right that you take Singapore as your hometown, your roots.It is also trying to stress to us that there is no place that can fit into your heart as home ,like Singapore.

MY AMBITION

My ambition is to be a successful chef.I want to be in this line of business as I love to cook.I love the taste and the sounds of the pans and the smells.I like to decorate the food that I have made, to garnish it and to make it more outstanding.I would also like to taste the new and rich exotic food found all around the world.I would like to try different authentic foods.The history of chefs came about when people started to learn how to cook and how to make food taste better.The richer folks then employed men or women to prepare food for these rich poeple then in turn these men and women would be paid, that making them chefs.Then this became an occupation and then school s came up training poeple to become professional chefs to please poeple.I would like to show you a sample of a school that specialises in training ordinary people to professional chefs.It is the "Le Cordon Bleu". It has a rich heritage of the chefs they had trained.It provdes good information on how to become a chef if you want to be one.It tells you about its vision and all the other schools it has all around the world. Hi, I am Clifford Wong Wei Hao.

I am currently 15 years old. I am studying in Chong Boon Secondary School(CBSS) and i'm in Secondary 3 this year. I love to play computer games and I also love to read novels. I love to swim and to play basketball. My favorite movie is Black Hawk Down. My favorite authors are Tom Clancy, Clive cussler, Andy Mcnab, Terence Strong and Robin Moore.

My CCA is National Cadet Crops(NCC) and I am a corporal in the unit.I will soon be going for a sergeant course that will get me promoted. I am really looking forward to that day. Then, I can take charge of my own platoon. I have also helped out in the community in many ways.I have done old newspaper collecting and yeoman services.

I have 3 best friends and they are Melvin, Zhao fa and Tao cheng.

I have 5 family members, and we all live together in the same house. I live in a semi detached house. I have a big family. I have a total of 6 uncles and 4 aunties and altogether I have 25 cousins. I like people who are kind and friendly and also sociable. But I really,really DISLIKE lairs.

As this is my first time making a blog I hope I do a good job.
